Nevada State College Description:

Nevada's first state college, Nevada State College was founded in 2002. Located in Henderson (just south east of Las Vegas), NSC has about 3,500 students, and offers over 35 majors and minors for students to choose from. Popular choices include Nursing, Education, Psychology, and Criminal Justice. NSC also offers Nevada's first Bachelor of Science for education of the deaf and hard of hearing. Outside of the classroom, students can join a number of on-campus groups--ranging from honor societies, to academic groups, to gaming and fine art organizations.
