Upper Iowa University Description:

Upper Iowa University is a private university with a main 100-acre campus in Fayette, Iowa, as well as an online program and numerous centers for distance education. The university also has international campuses in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia. Students can choose from more than 40 degree and certification programs. Business and human service fields are particularly popular, with top majors including accounting, business administration, education, human resource management, and criminology. In recent years the college has been working to upgrade facilities including a new student center, liberal arts building, and housing facility. The college wins high marks for being military-friendly and offers tuition discounts for military personnel and their families both on campus and through its educational centers on U.S. military bases. On the athletic front, the Upper Iowa University Peacocks compete in the NCAA Division II Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The university fields six men's and six women's intercollegiate sports. Popular sports include soccer, football, basketball, and track and field.
