Colorado Student Loan Forgiveness Amounts:
The Colorado LIFT loan forgiveness program repays up to $20,000 in student loans for nurses who are now teaching nursing to other future professionals.
Eligible Teachers:
To be eligible for Colorado LIFT loan forgiveness, a Colorado teacher must:
- Be teaching nursing full-time at a public or private Colorado college.
- Have a Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing.
- Must commit to no less than five academic years of teaching nursing.
Eligible Loans:
Most loans used to acquire a Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing.
