Due to the complexities of planning, saving, and investing for college, many parents enlist the help of a financial advisor. While this is no doubt a step in the right direction for many parents, choosing the wrong advisor can become a major setback.

While it is virtually impossible to know how an advisor will perform compared to other adviosrs, there are five key questions each parent should ask their new or existing college planning financial advisor.
