Your Rich "Uncle" Wants to Give You $39,636 for College...

Thursday March 27, 2008
Did you know that you have a rich "uncle" who wants to help pay for your college costs?

His name is "Uncle Sam."

The Montgomery GI Bill, for those of you who have never heard of it, is a government program that rewards military service with significant tuition assistance. In exchange for just 2-3 years of service, you can receive up to $1,101 per month for college, for up to 36 months.

This is not a loan, but a "gift" that doesn't need to be repaid.

For a more detailed overview of the program, check out my article on the Montgomery GI Bill.
