Pell Grants: Up to $4,731 Per Year - No Repayment!

Wednesday March 19, 2008
If you're feeling stressed about picking up the tab for a college education in the near future, Pell Grants may be just the good news you've been waiting for.

A Pell Grant is essentially an "educational gift" from the Federal government, which never needs to be repaid. Even better, it's available even to students who are going to school part-time, and working full-time.

Your Pell Grant eligibility and award amount are calculated on a combination of your Expected Family Contribution (EFC), your Cost of Attendance (COA), and your student status (full-time, half-time, etc.).

To find out more about applying and qualifying, take a gander at my extended overview of Pell Grants.
